Yelp.com

...is my new best friend. When you think your hometown is boring, this website definitely adds more excitement to your life. So a mini yelp via blog...

(1/2 sandwich & chowder, calamari in the far back)

Fisherman's Grotto on the Fisherman's Wharf

I usually just get a cup of the chowder and bounce, but this was my first time actually dining in at the restaurant. It definitely captures the ESSENCE OF MONTEREY: Touristy, average seafood, & a little old fashioned American.

The chowder was bomb, but the sandwich was disappointing. Cold shrimp in a creamy mystery sauce. Maybe it just needed more veggies for my taste.

ANYWAY, if you ever hit up Monterey bay ever (or home), get thissss. This chowder has definitely been taken for granted and I feel has been under-appreciated.

yo baby yo baby YO

www.thisiswhyyourefat.com

Probably one of the most visited sites on my browser. As disgusting as this sounds, I want to try some of the things on there. Within reasonable lines though, like the fried chicken and waffles, and the breakfast sushi. Yummmmmmy

And a quick update on that Evian facial spritz...definitely not worth my $20. I sprayed it on after my makeup routine and it only made my skin feel even more oiler at the end of the day. Returned that shit within a quickness.

On the other hand, I've discovered this AH MAAAAY ZING drugstore foundation. For at least $10 it's mofuggen great. The Revlon Colorstay for Oily/Combination skin. SPF 6! Better than none. But that shit workssssss, my face doesn't look like I just slathered on some bacon grease after 6 hours of application. It has something called SoftFlex, but I don't know what the hell that is....so you might wanna google that up and tell me bout it too.

PAYDAYYY, woo

As of lately I've been trying to keep on top of my work. I am absolutely stunned how others can over-pile their plate, while I measly have only 4 classes and work. That is such the minimum load. And here I am lazy as fuck just getting by. Sigh, you over achievers inspire me; keep up the good work.

I just bought this smoothing balm/primer. And it does make my skin feel oh so good. 30 bucks, but I guess it's worth it.

(Benefit's Dr. Feelgood smoothing balm)

Anyway, I will be looking forward to hitting up southern California soon to party it up for Sun God. B) Can't wait.
